Okay, we made it most of the way down and, even better, all the way back up! It wasn't a long hike, just over a 1/5 of a mile (round trip), but it was extreme. The verticals were dangerous for an out of shape (round) beginner like me. Since we didn't complete the whole hike, we went 10 minutes down the road toward South Lake Tahoe called Logan Shoals. It too was short .22 miles total, but it was very easy. More of a stroll than a hike. The path was flat and paved for 95% of the way. But it sure was beautiful. In the photo you may be able to make out Cave Rock and Mount Tallac. Cave Rock is on the far left and Tallac is on the far right with a large white cross on the face. We're lucky to live in such a beautiful area. As always, Peace, Love & Prayers.
