Day 185- I love a good flushing of the system. I have been hitting the water hard this week to flush out the past 2 weeks and dropped another lb today without even working hard, LOL. I even got a few peanut butter cups in last night that my kids got me while they were at Hershey. It feels great to be moving again.

So I am read the book 'Wheat Belly' and it is somewhat of a dry book so far,but a lot of the things discussed reallystart to make you think about all that wheat americans eat. I have pretty much cut wheat out of my diet on my own, but this book tells me why I see the effects. I would recommend those of you on WW or sim diets give it a read, I would bet money you would see better results! I will post more as I get through the book. One thing I can say is today's wheat is not the wheat your grandparents ate and your hormones are being played with every bite you take!

Sounds like a dry, yet intriguing read. Many documentaries out there can make you take a good hard look at what you eat! We really enjoyed 'Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead' and 'Food Matters.' There were others, but they were mostly targeting key markets (chicken industry) in an attempt to scare them into better care and less ghastly conditions. Keep rocking it!!

I too have noticed the difference when I don't eat wheat/gluten. We all have to educate ourselves and more importantly, the younger generations.
