Getting very excited - I'm within 9 pounds of my status bar thingy turning green!

The weight loss (aka meal replacement) shakes are working like a charm! For someone like me who is insanely busy at work and running around with two kids this is perfect. I'm getting my nutritional intake and not feeling like crap when I don't get to eat. I typically have a meal at lunch and do the shakes at breakfast and dinner which is perfect. I was delighted that my sins of Saturday night dinner out didn't haunt me on weighing this morning - my penance yesterday paid off!

I'm down 10.5 lbs to my goal of losing 30 by June 5th. I have my annual girlie doctor appointment that day and I really want to make sure when I step on that scale that it's under 200 - my doc will be so proud :-) & I'll see my Mom for the first time since last October when I started this journey.

You look like you're doing a great job based on your weight history chart. I never could do shakes for very long myself, but maybe they are good when you need a jumpstart (or when you're crazy busy as you sound!) :) Keep up the good work and congrats!!!

@Ashmo815: The first ones I tried were the Slim Fast Chocolate Royale ones which were really *really* good. But alas I am frugal so I bought a case at Costco which are milk chocolate - they are tasty as well but only available in milk chocolate but they ended up being $.40 a can less. @Elekra: Thanks! I won't do this forever and probably after the beginning of June I'll do one a day but I have some really horrible eating habits that I am in the process of unlearning so this helps. I'd go all day without eating and then at night around 9pm be so hungry that I'd eat everything in sight.
