Great job on saying, "No thanks". My hubby eats stuff like this daily it seems. I've worked too hard to revert back to an unhealthy lifestyle. Keep at it and stay strong. 💪

Thank you! It’s been easier than I thought, saying no. But my first hurdle was letting go of the self-imposed guilt of not cooking daily the things he prefers which are high fat/etc ..... I use meatballs as an example.... I use to make meatballs and pasta 1X a week, steaks, roasts with potatoes mashed with butter and sour cream..... and when I had my wake up call, I went in the South Beach Diet direction... and he’s been nothing but supportive and wonderful! He’s a huge fan of chicken and salad, and never tired of seafood. I truly don’t mind what he indulges in around me.... I’m at a really good place with my choices and have been spoiled by him grilling my food regularly too 😍
That said, he when brings my DRUG OF CHOICE M&M’s here, and I end up gobbling them up. 🤦🏻♀️ Or, Swedish Fish. My candy tooth is strong, so I practice 100% abstinence.. He can do whatever he wants, but occasionally I secretly resent him for it. 🤭

That simple act of 'saying no' is a HUUUGE win all by itself! Be proud of that. Stay the course. Also remember, your candy tooth is strong but you are FAR STRONGER!
