Very discouraged with this 3lb jump. I know I am not supposed to weigh myself everyday but I get on that damn scale. I had a few vodkas and club sodas over the weekend. Maybe that is making me retain more water? I walk every day and swim almost every other. Not enough exercise? Feeling really disappointed with a week of no real loss. Happy Monday.

I know the feeling of frustration. Don't let it get you down. These bodies we live in have their own agenda, and we just have to work with them the best we can. Stay on track, enjoy the journey, and you will reap the rewards. That's what I keep telling myself.

GOOGLE and article titled, "Why the Scale Lies" and learn about the ups and downs. If you must weigh daily, take an average at the end of the week to see progress.

Hey girl, I feel your pain. Stalls suck big time. I don't think you are doing anything wrong. It sounds like you are making good choices, staying active and living life. I got tired of beating my head against the wall and am trying something new. Whatever you do, don't beat yourself up and don't give up. Just keep adjusting until you find what works.

As much as we would like to, it's really not realistic to see a big loss every time we get on the scale!! (lol) There are going to be times when we see no movement, or even a bit of an increase. The key is to keep going and not give up, in the long run, success will be yours! A couple of suggestions for you: 1) make sure you log everything you eat and drink so you can see where you might be going off-track or need to cut back; 2) be sure to include those alcoholic drinks in your log, the carbs in those can really add up if you aren't careful. (I am NOT saying not to have them, just be aware of the impact and figure that into your total intake numbers.)
