Back again...actually I never really left.

I've never quite recovered after being sick early in August. My stomach/intestines "complain" with just about everything I eat. I started comfort-eating and although that addresses something emotional, it doesn't help my weight or the way I feel. I rushed into doing too much too soon (refinishing my kitchen/hall/bathroom hardwood floors by myself) and with one thing and another I have not gotten back to a regular routine on my elliptical. Before I got sick I was working out an hour a day on the elliptical, last week I did one half hour and the very next day I came down with a chest cold that only seems to get worse each day, not better.

This is my current wish list:
1. Get rid of this cough/cold so I can sleep better at night and exercise without hacking and coughing.
2. Get my healthstyle mojo back.
3. Get the basement remodel finished.
4. Designate an area in my home for my "war room" for prayer and meditation.

Today I will spend time contemplating ways of turning my wish list into action steps to turn my wishes into goals.

Hope you get to feeling better, rest and take care of yourself. What is a war room? I also have to tackle my wood floors this winter. Not looking forward to it. I will do one room at a time as I work on re-doing them. Not enough room to empty them out all at once.

Jeri - a war room is in reference to the movie out right now titled "War Room" which is about a family in crisis and the little old lady who teaches the wife how to battle for her family through prayer and meditation. She uses a closet as her quiet place...I just spent waaay too many $ to remodel my closet and there's no place there for me. I think I'll find a chair in one of our guest rooms or something like that and designate it as an area to go to each day to meditate and pray. Perhaps one of the missing pieces to my healthstyle puzzle has been slowing down and taking time for my spiritual life.

OH OK, I get it, thanks. I don't go to movies so wouldn't know. I get bored with them and am not good at sitting through one. MMM meditation helps many people.
