Ugh.. I'm disgusted! I know I need to be patient but it's not in my vocabulary..I am finally beginning to feel better. The new round of steroids and steroid nasal spray is helping. I still have no answers as to what I had ...I walked yesterday, just in my neighborhood but it felt good to get moving. I had a phone meeting with my nutritionist a couple days ago and we are going to try something new. I will post about it soon . Can't wait to get back into the gym! 💜💪

I'm glad you are starting to feel better. If it were me I wouldn't worry about the weight gain if taking steroids would help me, I would just expect it. It has to be frustrating not knowing what caused you to be so sick for so long.

So you’re no longer natty? 😱 Remember, those steroids make you retain water, it’ll balance itself out.

Fritzt, Finally got an appointment with my Dr! I had to raise hell but I go next Weds. I am still going to change Drs though. I was in a panic this morning cuz for me that's a big weight gain but now I'm off the ledge as I realize it's the steroids etc. I will get back Im sure.💜💜 Otb and Morticia, thanks, As long as I keep improving I'll take it as a blessing! Katsolo, Im still coughing quite a bit and feel lethargic after I do just one thing but it's better than where I was before!💜

Glad you're improving and the walk felt good for you. I know even simple exercise like that helps me feel better physically and relaxes my mind a bit too.

I know it will come off quick once you are no longer taking the steroids but it I am sure it is frustrating because you have not been able to work out like you want. At least you are moving and keep doing what you can. You got this! Very interested to hear what the nutritionist is going to have you do.

steroids are hard on the body. you gotta try to be patient and just do what you can. one day at a time. I have physical limitations and it's hard for me to get enough exercise So I feel your frustration. be gentle with yourself. hope you have a better day

Thanks everyone! You guys are the best!! I didn't feel better, have had 2 pretty good days in a row. YOH, I always have low vitamin D due to autoimmune issues so I do supplement. I was ok last time I was checked..As for iron, I have to be very careful. My body tends to store it so I cannot take supplements.

I’ve been eating WAY over my normal calorie range due to the steroids!! Off setting it by walking 2 hours per day this whole week (30 minutes each time I ate) all while suffering from insomnia ALSO due to the steroids! 🙄 SO GLAD you are finally feeling better, Diana! 😮‍💨 I, too, can’t wait to get back to normal.

Diana and storms—D i was wondering if you were anemic for the excessive fatigue tho you’ve been quite ill so probably to be expected. For both of you—-i have had issues sleeping since a child but started drinking magnesium at bedtime. I use the moon juice brand and i double the dose. It does seem to help a bit. Just a thought. Most of us need additional magnesium. Gosh girls, let’s get you both better. Wish i had a magic wand for you.
