Had a phone meeting with my nutritionist. I had to measure myself so numbers might not be as accurate as hers. #s were about 1/4-1/2" higher than last time and waist was no surprise...31.6" A jump for me but increase was anticipated because I haven't been able to work out in a month. My nutritionist was still pretty positive and encouraged me, saying the weight gain is likely my body holding onto water weight plus steroids are a factor. She feels like when I return to gym it will come off and that for most part my eating has been good. Considering the steroid hunger and wanting comfort foods due to not feeling well, I think I've done fairly well. I hope my muscles will bounce back and I'll be able to get back to a " normal" workout routine quickly. 1st day back at gym; s tomorrow...going to try a walk on treadmill and light weightlifting. No classes planned as of now. I'll let you guys know how it went.💜💪
132.4 lb Lost so far: 22.6 lb.    Still to go: 0.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

This is awesome news and good job maintaining! I think you will be surprised how well your muscles will come back. I know when I was off for about a month due to vacation, being sick and hurting myself the first week was really hard. I came back great on some aspects so for example I am killing it with PB on like chest supported rows and one arm rows but flat bench press and overhead press has been a struggle to get back up to what I was lifting. I keep telling myself to just work hard and I will get back there - it is ok becasue I am in a good place so just know that! Easier said than done becasue we always want to bounce back quickly! LOL I am just glad you have turned a corner and feel better.

Hope the viral pink eye is cleared up before you head in so no one else gets infected, since it can also be spread by coughing (bodily fluids), in addition to touching things like doorknobs. What about just lifting at home and walking outside at dusk or dawn?

JB, pink eye has been gone for 2 days. No ooze. I've already thought of that so to be safer I'm going to wear my gloves and wear my glasses. I always sanitize my equipment anyway before and after but will be Uber safe by not touching treadmill while walking. Of course I'll have to touch to start. I will also wear a mask. I can't walk here at home as it's been very windy here. That will kill me for sure.

Moko and Livin,breezy, thanks and LB, no bull for sure!💪. Red porch, I remember when you got sick etc and it's awesome to see how you dedicated yourself and look at you now! You look amazing! I hope I can recover as well as you but I'm actually kind of scared to return. I keep making excuses why I shouldn't go tomorrow but I know as soon as I am into workout I'll be happy I went. 💪💜

It’s so nice to hear you sound like you feel so much better. Whatever you do, dont overdue it in the beginning right? Don’t need a setback. Oh my, i am so bossy. Hope you come back tomorrow and feel like a million bucks. Wait, that doesn’t go very far in this economy….hopes you come back feeling like a trillion bucks!!!

YOH, I'll try but I still look pretty bad, really dark circles under eyes and I'm still not wearing makeup on eyes. Already threw out all makeup...It's not a pretty sight...😂 Kennyn, thanks, I hope you are right!👍💪

I understand how you feel. My first day back I should have waited a couple of days. I could not even roll out I was so exhausted. LOL I did a few and just got up and walked out. You will feel it as it does take it out of you to be gone but it comes back! Good luck!

Just listen to your body. You have time to get back to where you were. Pushing too hard will only slow your progress down ❤️ Yeah, I'm being bossy, too 😊 It's good news you're on the mend!

Sherry, Redporch, thanks for concern and advice! I appreciate the feedback and I agree that I need to take it slow. I'm not motivated at all and that's what concerns me. Im feeling like I need to force myself to go just to get back in the habit of going.💜

Start slow like everyone is saying. You may need to force yourself initially but you have a really strong will, a supportive husband and all of the fatsecret friends rooting you on….muscle memory and habit will help you. Also remember how strong and well you felt thats what you are shooting to get back to. Did they ever say if your X-ray was normal? And dark circles and no make up is fine….you are lovely just recovering darling girl🥰

YOH, yes my xray came back with minimal congestion..a little to late, wish Id had one done when I first got sick. I guess on the plus side my torn meniscus seems to be healed...Ill see how it feels when walking on treadmill.👍

Welllll, if you get sick again you just let mommy YOH talk to your docs for you. We know our bodies and if your hubs is scared you need all the tools to know what is going on inside. Awesome news on the meniscus. Silver lining🌈💍🦄
