Life has me sitting at the edge of my seat...When my hubby started overnights, i had a panic attack and started brushing out my dreadlocks until 2am Wednesday night. im halfway through my head now. my arms are sore... When that started, my routine for working out stopped..i need to get back on track quickly. my brain feels fried so how am i to do that?

Start slowly, workout short periods instead of trying to get it all done at once

With my work schedule, it is difficult to be consistent with my workouts. But I always feel better when I do make myself go to the gym. Just don't let yourself talk yourself out of going. I struggle with this sometimes as well.

I know you are trying to find your way. For me, I couldn't or really don't want to follow a diet. I do however follow and try to balance my macros every day. I log everything I eat. Late today I was out of balance and low on calories and guess what I ate to get back on track? 5 walnut halves, 1/4 cup Pistachios unshelled, and a nice piece of dark chocolate. Ended the day balanced. Everyone is different but I know if I feel something is off limits, I will crave it big-time. So for me, nothing is off limits. I have learned portion control though.

I agree with Abbadabba. Even if you don’t do a big exercise session, you can always decide to do 3 minutes with weights or a walk around the block, and often that feels so good that you do a little more. Do it with joy rather than as a penance.

I bet you'll have beautiful soft smooth hair when you're done.

I guess I’m missing something. Your husband went to work and you had a panic attack so bad you sat up all night taking your dreadlocks out.? Got to be something to this story II don’t get. Anyway, hope you feel better.

Try setting your hair and saturate with conditioner… so they comb right out!

Worry less about quickly. Start with deep breaths. Don't add to the panic by putting additional pressure on yourself. First goal is just to bring yourself back to center. Deep breaths. You got this 🤗

always my doctor said to me listen to your body if it needs rest so give it , if you feel just cant hold the diet just give it a small cheat meal , your body is so smart that not from 1 meal or even 1 rest day will lose all your progress , just love your body and keep on touch with , make your body your buddy like your boyfriend or smth , you do both to listen and understand each other and that helps me alot.
