Sugar is my enemy. I have gone sugar free (almost), using up a little bit of thigs I have on hand, and i have not yet broken that 2 cookies and a champagne flute of almond milk before bed. The sugar will be totally gone in 24 hours.

Sugar substitutes are not an option. Not even Stevia, it all gives me migraines.

Started a very green diet, 3 days only. A) gonna be hangry. B) I can do this. Today is day 1.

After Day 3, more foods are introduced.

There is no fruit. Sugar is not an option at this time.

I did clean out that cabinet and got rid of many things.

The chicken,(frozen) okra, and baby carrots cooked in coconut milk in the crock pot was damned delicious! Added garlic and S&P.

Have I gone KETO without even knowing? LOL

I tried Kale and did not keel over.

Is going “sugar” free something that has been recommended by your physician/nutritionist for your migraines or just something you are trying for yourself.. have you tried ALL types of sugar substitutes or just a few..so many newer ones out there that are really offering many people with all kinds of sugar issues to have some sweet options.

Sorry— had to answer the phone before I finished. I know that there has been some reported cases of migraine trigger with STEVIA, but specifically MONK FRUIT and ERYTHRITOL products like SWERVE have not been noted to trigger migraines. If you haven’t specifically tried those two it might be worth it. I frequently bake with SWERVE because everyone in my world has diabesity so I usually sub ou out at least half of the sugar in a recipe and no one can tell the difference. If you decide to try it (if you haven’t already) I would love to hear how it worked for you.

Good for you! Whole30 has tons of supportive tips on fighting the Sugar Dragon. I can only handle a little Stevia but stiff like Erythritol absolutely tears my stomach up.
