Jay2584's Journal, 16 February 2022

I'm back y'all. after 2 years of fighting this dang rona. Having been avoiding it even though I was in countless situations where I was definitely exposed. I remained all good. What finally did me in was a suspect I didn't see coming.....my babygirl 😒🤦‍♂️😂🤣. (she's ok y'all, had it, and was done with it in about 4 days) Me.... that ish took me out for almost a month. Loss of smell, body aches, shortness of breath, all the flu like symptoms. It was terrible I tell you. Almost as bad as labor I imagine. (I'm totally kidding, don't kill me folks 😂🤣) But on a real note, it was definitely scary for me not being able to breathe normally, barely able to get around my home. Winter time so I had to shovel a walkway for the delivery drivers(thank God for them) I was not about to let my lady do it, but while I was passed out one day between her and our neighbor they cleared the driveway. I owe that man some whiskey for sure. But anyway, I'm all better now, still dealing with a bit of shortness of breath when I run, but I'm getting better. Now we're dealing with a new Husky puppy, that's a whole other adventure 🤦‍♂️. Well, there's my update, career change still up in the air.... I'll check back on that one soon.

Glad to hear you are better. Took me about 2.5-3 weeks to feel 100%. It was just random bouts of coughing that I thought would never end. But- they did! 💪🤸‍♀️

Yahoo Jay!!! Welcome back!!!💪 You’re hilarious and I am so sorry about your bout with the virus, you made it!! 👏👏👏 My husband has had asthma before he was five, so when the virus got him he was in the hospital for four days. He left people there that didn’t leave. When he left, he had PTSD from it, watching others not able to breathe and watching them going down. One man was married to a famous doctor, who couldn’t help, no matter how she tried. So scary! Glad your well!👍 Your other trouble is a husky. My neighbor has three, always talking and howling, and crying, but never barking. They had four, but one got through the fence and attacked my tiny dog. They gave that one away. We have horse property, I don’t hold them accountable for the dog getting over here by digging under the fence. But, remember Jay and always be aware, huskies have a strong prey instinct, just heads up. I still love their remaining dogs. I never did like that one anyway. My little one recovered months later. Welcome back, can’t wait to see your smoothies.😊

@davidsprincess, oh my shortness of breath was the worst. I could deal with the coughing, but that shortness of breath was no bueno. I'm glad you recovered as well. Too many have been lost to this damn virus 😔. Stay strong and healthy my friend. 💪🙂

@shrewdness, I'm happy that my hectic life can bring joy to others lol. I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's battle with the virus. This virus has affected so many lives, its terrible 😔. The husky is definitely keeping me busy. So much energy and so so much hair lol. Yep, recently discovered the howling 🙄 I'm glad your fur baby recovered well. I'm always worried about my pets and would feel terrible if they ever accidentally injured someone or their family(including pets because they are family) I have liability insurance for my families protection, but hope to never be in a position where we need it. That's why I train all of our pets to be the best fur baby 🙂. This husky though....🤦‍♂️😂🤣 she is pushing all of my buttons. She chews on everything, my work gear, my computer, my phone. Came home one night was petting my other dog and she began to chew on my duty weapon 😒. Just the grip, it was still holstered on my belt, on my side. So no danger other than eating the polymer grip 😠 lol. As for my shakes and ice creams, soon very soon 🙂
