Katsolo's Journal, 07 March 2021

Puppy walk in the sunshine with some work in the yard only. Sleep was crappy as I fell asleep on the couch (yuck), woke up in the middle of the night, went to bed and then couldn't fall asleep forever and then got up late. Because. Whatever, it's a new day, we start all over again, right?

Glad I took advantage of the sunshine yesterday, it's cloudy so far today. No reason not to work in the yard though. I did manage to disassemble the part of the fire pit I wanted to yesterday, so need to figure out where to put it.

Lunch with BF yesterday. He's lost a total of 27 lbs due to the ongoing vertigo episode and kept it off because he's not into eating much. Mixed feelings there. He looks gaunt and not as healthy as normal. I'm going to invite him to use the pool and the rest of my equipment, but not until doc gives him clearance. In the meantime, we'll just keep going on the shorter walks to keep him moving and physically engaged. Humans are a tough nut when you're used to being able to fix things. We're quite evenly matched in the stubbornness department, so I have to be careful how much I push.

Besides walking dogs, big plans for the day include washing my hair. #sarcasm. I will be so happy when things are more back to normal.

Fine with numbers below, slight bump in the blob due to yesterday's lunchtime feast. Waitress asked if I'm losing weight, so the recomp is working, I guess. For me, it's how I feel, and I feel strong most of the time. Happy. No regrets. I also had my first Diet Coke in almost a year. Sticking to the rule of not ever having it in the house. It's a dining out treat and I honestly enjoyed my sammie more than the DC. Stuff to do today, time to get moving.
