Met calorie goal.
Stretching 30 minutes.
Bike 22 minutes.

Made a batch of chapati this morning. Added new ingredients: turmeric, cumin, and red pepper flakes. Made smaller ones than before (got 10 instead of 8).

I failed at practicing portion control as I had 3...yes, 3 chapati. I'm still within my calorie goal, but ate more carbs than usual. I knew I was eating too much when I started biting the third one (ate them like tacos). It all was so messy and tasty and I just couldn't stop myself. Usually I can stop myself.

Lesson learned. Must. Not. Forget. Portion. Control.

Onward, friends.

Thanks friend. I just usually don't eat so much carbs in one meal like that. I was mindful of that the rest of the day and ate lightly. :)

Looks yummy! Are they fried?

You are supposed to brush them with oil and put them (one at a time) in a non-stick skillet. I just sprayed the skillet with Pam and then the top of the chapati. You really don't need much spices, it really is easy to taste the spices. :)

I wish I wasn't so lazy. These sound amazing! You did great. I love tacos and carbs are not my friend.

I love chapati, but they are a little time consuming. I get in the mood to make them when I know I'm going to have tacos. Carbs aren't my friend either, but I can't do keto or true Paleo (which really works for me with weight loss and maintaining it). I have to have some carbs every day or I feel funny. Paleo doesn't allow grains but is big on potatoes. Potatoes are a no-no food for me (must measure if I'm having), so grains it is!

Well done on recognizing the tricky triggers. You'll get past them eventually, I just know it.

Yummy! Do you know why I have not made them again... Yep! Not because they are time consuming or hard... Because they are too good! I struggle mightily with stopping once I start! 😁
