Back from vacation! I hope everyone is well. Gosh, I missed being here, especially logging. We had SO much fun but we honestly couldn't wait to get back to our WOE...AND exercise.
So, even with a minimum of 10,000 daily steps, always opting for stairs instead of elevators, we both gained (me more than hubby). I always, always gain water weight. Between flying, high sodium foods and prolonged standing, my legs always hold water. This time, since my waist was really slimming down, I feel/see a lot of bloating around my middle as well. Face is even kinda puffy.
Part of our vacation was spent in Miami for a couple days, then we cruised to the Bahamas, then Jamaica. After we came back to port, we stayed another day in Fort Lauderdale. We took advantage of the 24/7 food offerings on the ship and indulged in alcohol since we needed to make the 'drink package' worth it LOL. I didn't go completely crazy, but I certainly didn't want to restrict myself on our biggest vacation of the year. I trust my mindset so I knew I would be fine and back on track when I got home.
I'm looking forward to flushing quite a lot of fluid between now and the weekend. Today was a great day for my WOE and I got back to resistance training. Yeahhhh it felt GREAT!!!!
