Hitting personal records 2 days in a row! 115 pound deadlifts!
ANd on accident! lol I thought I put 15 pound plates but they were 25s! 😅

I also got this awesome protein hall! My GNC is closing so everything was 30 to 75% off. I paid $75 for everything in the pics! That protein baking powder mix is normally $70!!

My work out for today
Warmed up lower body with stretching and 10 reps body weight squats
Tread mill 5 minutes
Hip thrust 2 sets 15
Elevated hip bridge 2 sets 10
Squats 65#: 2 x 5, 70# 2 x 5, 1 rep 85# (could feel my form was not good so I gave up. I wish the mirror went bellow my waist so I could see myself. I definitely was not hitting depth)
Deads 95# 1 set 5, 115# 1 set 4 (I would have kept going but some guy asked me if I was about done and I basically chicken out and said yeah 😣)
Leg press 90# on toes 20 reps
Foam rolled hammies
Lying leg lifts 10 each
Lying hip adduction 10 each
Plank 30 seconds
Incline crunch 50 (no stopping)
Alt twist crunch 100 (no stopping)
Knee ups for 1 minute

So I told my friend with the gym about my deadlifting and bench press from yesterday and she wants me to go back to her so she can teach me to bench properly! 😃😃😃 Super excited about that! She also wants me to record my weight training sessions. But I'd just die 😳 😩 🙈 before I'd do that!!!!! lol I'm such a coward! 😅😆
Also I'm not worried about the weight gain. I started my menstrual cycle last night 😑
161.4 lb Lost so far: 47.6 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thanks guys! Adef that lady is awesome!! Mbd I will let you know tomorrow! The baking mix intrigued me too. I know you can bake with many protein powders but this seems cooler lol Adef that is pretty amazing! Chris I’ve been eating whatever the f*ck I want but I’m going to reign that in a bit 😅 I’m going to start to eat a little cleaner. I’m not concerned with gaining weight or anything but slimming down 10 pounds would be nice. I’ve been eating a little over 2k calories most days. I want to keep it at that but limit my junk food to gym days and only a couple of servings.

Great deal on the products. Great job on the accidental dead lifts lol. I bet she wants to record so that she can show you what you are doing incorrectly. Kinda like how sports record the games and players and coaches review them to find weaknesses. Just be sure she knows if anyone else sees them that you will hurt her lol (not really). If she’s a friend I’m sure she’ll make sure only you and she sees them. ;).

also Dawnie LOL don't be afraid to finish your sets :p ... sometimes I offer to let people alternate with me if they look like they're in a hurry. they usually say no anyway.

The Isopure was really good! It was the most expensive thing I bought. I think it was $20. Thinking about getting another 🤔 I had the Quest this morning and it definitely gave me a stomach ache. I won’t be able to drink that full strength and alone. I also tried the protein popcorn. It was sooo good but not much protein for the calories.

My friend wants to help me as much as she can. Which is awesome!! I doubt she’d share my vids but I know if she records me it’s fair game. Her gym has an insta and it has clips of her lady’s boot camp every week lol She’s also going to help me workout a better plan to keep me focused. I’ll be working out with her on Sunday! I’m so excited and terrified. I can barely walk (could barely get myself into my car) today and my upper body still hurts from Wednesday 😩😩😅😅😅😅

The isopure is a whey isolate, a cleaner version of protein, the quest (while still good) is a whey concentrate which probably contains more lactose which might be the reason it upset your stomach. I recently bought that same isopure, I like it cause it tastes decent with just water. Great job on the workout!

Yeah I’m mildly lactose intolerant. I’ve been using Integrated Supplements (they filter out the lactose) protein powder for so long I forgot what a difference the lactose makes lol If I eat food with the quest, I should be okay.

Wow! That’s a great haul!! 🎉 And CT, I think you should record your sessions for yourself mainly, but also if you decide to let her share anything, you could really inspire someone else!! (Like me!) Weightlifting is so intimidating for me, but to see another woman that I can identify with doing it (especially in the early stages before they’re ripped) is a HUGE motivator!! I’m a pretty private person too, so I get it, but just think about it! You’re amazing and you should be super proud! 💕

Aww thanks MrsRoboto ❤️ I’m okay with the idea of being recorded. That’s not the main problem. It’s the embarrassment of video tapping noobie self in my crowded gym 😅😅 if I was squatting 250# I think I’d feel different but... Anyway you should give it a try at your gym. Don’t even let yourself get comfortable on those machines! Start out with the cable machines. They are usually on the outskirts of the weightlifting area but still part of the area that is most intimidating.

The cable machine is great. It lets you have more of a free range of motion than those other machines off to the side. Less chance of injury. I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube lately. Lots of fitness people out there. Not that many ladies. Most are like Instagram models with muscles so I get what you mean. I don’t feel like they are the same as me or like I will ever look like them. I still enjoy watching their content but yeah it would be cool if some out of shape person video tapped their journey to advanced power lifter 😃 but that won’t be me 😆😆 I’m not disciplined enough! However I am committed to getting at least twice as strong as I am now 👍
