I think my mantra may be slow and steady. Yesterday, my mode of exercise was shoveling snow. There will be more of that today but also plan on getting in a run and some free weights. I will say that’s the plan as long as my body doesn’t rebel. I ran 2 miles Tuesday and then a 1 mile cool down. I had twinges yesterday on my left side; Doc said that was the side with the most adhesions and endometriosis so I’m sure I had some inflammation going on.

I pulled out a pair of jeans, from back of my closet that I haven’t been able to wear, and slipped them on. NSV! I know from past experience that the scale isn’t the KNOW ALL that we sometimes (many times) think it is. It is a false prophet!

Surgical Menopause I’m doing good over-all. I realize that my hot wings (or anything remotely spicy) needs to be consumed on Friday or Saturday nights. I will be up with intense hot flashes and I’d rather deal with that on nights that I don’t have to start work at 5am the next day.

Time to get to work and then a shovel brake later! Be kind to yourselves!

It's always the jeans, isn't it? Clothing advertisers should take note the way the heavens open up and bugles sound when we can realize that NSV.

LOL! Bells, so funny and so true!! Yep the jeans are the story. I have my favorite pair of warmer weather pants though that I am looking forward to getting back into. The exercise will help me get there because the "hips don't lie" and these pants require the hips to be slimmer...hahahaha.

Nice nice graph!! Congrats on the jeans!! They are a good gauge on decrease in size. Shoveling snow is huge exercise!! Works much of your body and amazing cardio.

You are right ... it's the next size down jeans that make me the happiest. I bought a size smaller this winter. NSV!
