hour 61 and im feeling good! going to do 2 more miles on lunch break today. and hopefully get a bit more in on Sunday. will break the fast tomorrow at dinner...already have a prime rib thawing 🍽🐄 not hungry but maaan do i miss food 😭
114.4 lb Lost so far: 25.0 lb.    Still to go: 4.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Interesting! 😀 I am fasting yesterday and today, but I eat a 600 calories dinner. It is called the 5:2 diet.

Im trying IF too, since 2 months ago when I started keto, but the most I have lasted is 16:8 after how many months did you begin longer fastings?

It's kind of OMAD, it's just 2 days a week; "2 days of (500 calories)and 5 days eating normal." I use the calories saved on my weekend eating with family.

Noreen, i started fasting last may. To build-up to 60 plus hours I would just fast until I was too hungry to not fast. ADEF, ive signed up for 5 classes at the gym.... god help me. Haha. Keilin, is the purpose of eating limited calories 2 days so you can eat more the others?

Yes, on the weekends I eat over 2,300 calories , usually we go to eat out, restaurants food has way too many calories and I don't even think about a salad, so I got to save calories for my weekends Haha.

That's an awesome fast! Have you done much fasting before? I haven't in years, but my own personal experience was that after the first couple days, I just didn't get hungry. I broke my first four day fast because going without that long and not getting hungry kind of scared me lol. My only caution to folks is to get enough water throughout, don't sit around, and break a long fast gradually :D
