Fasting BS 114, all day my BS stayed above 100 all day yesterday with only 2 total carbs. I don't think this is keto, autophagy or “adaptive glucose sparing” related. Too bad we don't have home insulin tests yet. I hear they are about 5 yrs away. If it was, I'd be losing weight, which I am not. I'm just up and down the same few pounds over and over like groundhog day. till tomorrow. keto on!

I wonder what is keeping your bloodsugar up, I know you had a few days of carbs but I did not think you would hold onto them this long. nice to take the losses though

I'm with @baskington on this one. I do not know what is keeping your blood sugar up this long when your carbs are so low. Now, let me eat at McDonalds three times a day and I can put myself into 120+ and hang out there all week...

I just checked 3 hours after my lunch, zero carb and it's still 103, it was 104 prior to lunch. I'm very tired. I never got that energy bump in keto. I'm going to try a glass of exogenous ketones for the heck of it. What do I have to lose. I've been hungry the last few days. I might have under measured my meals.

I'm reading thyroid might hang onto glucose. I technically test normal on my thyroid tests but typically symptoms Trump lab work for thyroid. I'll contact the doc in a week or two, or less, who knows and beg for him to try a few things I have in mind. and see if he has any ideas.

the right balance tends to give you that boost, maybe your balance is off. or you are missing some important vitamin/minerals. as I just recently discovered we don't absorb some formulations well. I have always had trouble with absorbing things when it is in pill form.

Stay optimistic, eventually, you will figure it out.

Thanks Dave, that's sweet! I've never worked so hard on anything. I just wish I felt better. I get so tried and Spacey. I don't know how to fix anything anymore. I've been searching for answers for years. Now I'm broke because I haven't found any help. So frustrating. I will keep trying every day.

Maybe instead of focusing on what you still need to lose, try focusing on what you have already accomplished. You've lost weight, and quite a bit, that isn't an easy thing to do. Focus on that, try and remember what you did when you were losing that weight and compare it to what you are doing now, you might find your answer. No guarantees, just a thought - I wish you luck with it.

I’ve heard that vinegar lowers blood sugar. I don’t know exactly how true that is but could be worth experimenting with. A tiny bit here and there. 🤔🤔

Crashtestdawnie yup I'm sucking down ACV with water with meals. That stuff is gross! LOL good idea though.

David van horn, yup, I lost the weight in the beginning of the year by not eating. I just can't do that anymore. I switched to LCHF in May to help my autoimmine and to help me get the rest of the weight off without starving. So I just need to figure out what is not working right in my body. I had surgery 3 years ago and since then it's been all down hill. At least I've stabilized the last 3 months on keto and my cheat days are few and far between. Thanks for the encouragement.
