Is 80 carbs really that bad?

About 1/2 of recommended and a million x less than I used to eat.

Adefwebserver EXACTLY. That was kind of my point. 80 carbs and I'm u 1.5 pounds again. You know the drill.. So dang resistant to losing.

☹️ what a bummer!! But you may be able to drop some of that by tomorrow right? Water weight?

… I'm gonna be up tomorrow. An unexpected stressful day due to a business presentation has me on a 'carb binge'. I could go for a run, but the stress is because I am 'behind on time'. I already know I'm looking at 2-3 days to undo the 'damage' I'm doing...

most of that is water weight and yes it can take a couple days to dump it. When I eat flour products it can take me 4 days. Eat correctly the next couple days and it should be gone by the third day at the latest without starving yourself. Just balance the extra calories for the overall week total.

Crashtestdawnie only you have the gift of a cheat day. lol ok give ya 10 years and you won't be able to bounce back like you do now LOL, unless you reach your goal and take care of yourself. I thought I was invisible in my 20s and 30s. but you just might be lucky! 😀

adefwebserver uhh I envy you having a project that brings stress. though I know you don't want any extra stress. Hope it goes well! stress is a funny thing. some stress can be a good thing , it's how we perceive it. wacky. i perceive not being able to pay my bills and get one darn interview add bad, some people can look at the same thing as a Super positive challenge. go figure. at least I didn't go for the carb loaded pizza and stuck with the cheesecake. it pulled every trigger temptation I had in my body to resist. I'm a private eater. I don't ever overly eat with people, but I use to take a pizza and cake home to enjoy like a warm bubbly bath to others..

@Jenjabba - Yeah I need to be grateful because this project is 'extra' work above my normal day job. My stress could be this or a broken toe nail. ANY frustration and it could 'set me off'. I had some sardines and a bag of low carb quest Tortilla chips. I still may do that run...

jenjabba, you can do it! I have been off track for awhile now. I have still been weighting myself, but will not log it on FS until I am lower than my lowest. With that said, I have been trying to drink more water, like chrisw has advised a few times on here. It does work to flush out the extras after eating a bit too many carbs. You know what to do, don't get down, you can do it. 😊
