Judyrose1997's Journal, 10 July 2017

I showed a small loss this week even though i had been making 3-4 lb losses for each of the prior three weeks. I was strict Keto . So ...when I asked around I found many people suffered the same slow down . Some of them advised the following: Eat only during a set time of day. Thus avoiding the grazing into the night (on Keto foods) that I might have done. They also said ..."Keep Calm and Keto on" Sounds silly but ...what they really were telling me...forget the scale...fine tune the Way of Eating Keto...experience and reset will win out...just don't quit before the miracle happens again for you. Hope this helps...any way...its what I am trying to do this week.
232.0 lb Lost so far: 13.0 lb.    Still to go: 87.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Miss Judy, I certainly understand. I don't even own a scale lol. I know that I would obsess! I weigh when I go to the doctors office. I go by how I feel and my clothes. Measurements help as well. Sometimes you will lose body inches without any drop in weight. Keto on!!

something to remember, when you first start a diet the weight seems to melt off... but then your body gets used to it, and again starts to try to hold on to it's fat, it doesn't want to starve. So just keep with your program, maybe up your exercise a bit, and you'll start to see results again.

Hadn't heard that saying, that's great! I'm not weighing myself at all. Loving the clarity and insight I'm getting from this app so far!

If you haven't already, try Mrs. Dash's Table Blend -- no salt, but adds some of the missing flavor you may be experiencing. It's a finer blend than the other Mrs. Dash products so you don't get the "chunkiness" of them.
