I decorate wedding cakes and one had stripes of frosting from the bottom of the layer to the top all around about 1/2 inch apart. I sat on a chair and stood up to get the frosting on for each stripe. 3 layers later, it was finished with about 100 ?squats?. The next day my gluts hurt so bad I could hardly stand or sit to do normal functions. It was just that one exercise.. sitting and standing... Showed me how out of shape I was. . . . Enjoy the kettle ball. Do some squats... heeheehee...

While I was sick with pneumonia, I was out of my 6 school gardens for 6 weeks. the weeds are horrendous, huge and well rooted. So, everyday for hours, I've pulling, levering, bending, lifting and hauling. No gym equipment needed. The kids need me to show them how to do it and stick with it. We're making good progress.

Kettlebells are awesome!!! I have anything between 8kg and 16kg. There are so many exercises.....you can do them with one or 2 bells. Start with simple swings. You need to watch out and use good form or you will hurt your lower back. Watch them on youtube. Clean & press, military press, windmills, snatches, russian twists, turkish get ups, renegate rows, lunges (forward and back with weight haning or pulling up to a snatch), squats, bicep curls, tricep dips.....the possibilities are endless.
