Days 16-21 Whole30: I've been off the grid from the 16th - 20th. I went up state for a performance by way of car. Midway the trip my engine light came on. We made it to our destination safely and the next morning my husband took the car to a the dealership and picked up a rental (thank goodness for extended warranties). The performance went great and we ended up with mini vacation. I had a restful and beautiful time. Day 16, 17, and 18 I ate off plan. I didn't go overboard, yet I didn't make the effort I could have in all of my meal choices. Breakfast and lunch were easy, dinner however I splurged (meaning I had meals that contained foods off the plan). I thought about my food choices and really like and prefer the Whole 30 plan. It allows me to be more conscious about what I'm eating and I know I don't need or want the sugar and I will continue to be gluten free. I JUST FEEL BETTER! We made it home safely, the car is running like new and I'm back on plan and determine to live a healthy lifestyle.
