Lowkeylife's Journal, 12 November 2023

Just about released to full activities at 6WPO on Tuesday. This past week was the first week I’ve felt like myself. Most def pushed it at the gym today, sorry not sorry. 🤷‍♀️
Dreaming about creating memories with “Travel Honey” but 🇸🇪 bound in a week to clear out my childhood home since my mom is being moved to an assisted living facility.
Weight bounces between 182-184.
I decided to start eating chicken again after 6 years in hopes of adding more lean protein to my diet. Nope. It smelled gross and looked crazy slimy. I’ll attempt an other time. Maybe.

I don’t quite have the go ahead but at 6 weeks most are released without restrictions. My doc said at 2 weeks to listen to my body which is what I’ve diligently done. My final post op is next week. I’m feeling just about 💯 except these hot flashes at night; but it is what it is. 😥 I look forward to rebuilding muscle without groin and abdominal pains.

I'm carnivore and even I don't care for the chicken these days. try a nice piece of steak. maybe a filet or NY Strip. The fat is so healthy for you.

First, you look marvelous! Love the champagne/ pain meme! I always loved chicken but I find lately that I’m drawn to grilling or smoking the whole bird. Then I use leftovers for prepping my weeks lunches. The whole bird isn’t as slimy etc than the cut up ones to me. 💜💜

I’m nowhere ready for red meat and I may never be. It’s been 6 years of only seafood and eggs along with the reintroduction of dairy 2 years ago. I may attempt cooked chicken first before I get back into cooking it myself. Who knows. I’ll just wait until post holidays at this point

You might add a drink called a Pussers Pain Killer— it does the job, you won’t feel a thing after a couple.
