Well ... Frank just doesn't seem to want to cooperate with my plans!! I've continued to see increases ... although they aren't reflected on FS yet ... I will wait a couple more days before I post my weight. Now, indeed it could be water retention or who knows what else. I know that it really isn't possible to gain fat when my calories expended exceed my calories consumed so I am not really fretting all that much. My progress has been good, I am doing what I need to do, and I keep telling myself that it is more important to maintain within a reasonable range than see my "magic number" on Frank.

I have been finding old friends on facebook recently. That has been fun. It is interesting to see the paths that each person life has taken over the years. It has caused me to reflect a lot, on my own path, and on my present as well. The weekend was good. Next weekend will be our trip to Portland and I am really looking forward to spending a few days with my dear hubby without the daily grind. So, on I go ... into my day ... what a joy it is to have blessings to count, how good it continues to feel to have a body that doesn't feel like it is at war with myself, let's all continue to put one foot in front of the other and remember that this is a process ... not simply a task to be accomplished!

I have found that the more I pause to count my blessings - PAUSE - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - the more those blessings MULTIPLY! Sometimes I chant when I walk to set a QUICK pace. One of my chants (affirmations) is "The PROCESS - not the product - the PROCESS - not the product - the PROCESS - not the product!" We put too much emphasis on the end result instead of loving every minute of the never-ending - ever-changing PROCESS! Do you know what I mean? That's what we are - friggin' food processors! You know what I mean - I hope. He-he-he-he-he!

You know how hard those last few pounds are to lose. It is said the last 5 are the hardest to lose of all and people just get so discouraged. I know you told me to stay off the scale but I just had to step on it today. I am back to 172, I lost that 1 and 1/2 that had me so confused. Now I will stay off of it until Thursday. I promise. And I was able to walk 30 minutes at 2.4 miles an hour today. Do not know what I will be able to do tomorrow but I am happy with today and will try to do a bit more later in the day. I play Scrabble games with my son on Facebook, it is way too much fun and it is a great way to be in contact with him since he lives out of town. I have won once, I printed it off and kept it, he is so good, I cannot believe I won that game. And he would never let me win, he is too competitive. :-) Just keep doing what you have been doing and Frank will be kind to you.

Hey ... that's my line!!! Process not product!!! My clients nearly cringe when I say it!! Of course, applying that to myself is much more challenging than sharing that with others. LOL!! So, yes, I know exactly what you mean.

It's all about the journey, not the destination. But I like the idea of being a food processor...whirrrrr!

Very well said. Insofar as the increases mentioned in the first paragraph are concerned, two (at the most three) well timed low calorie days, possibly alternated with a neutral calorie day(s), will place you in, or at the doorstep of, the promised land. ;-) Of course you must do it in your *own* way, and once you have come this far, there is no hurry at all. Have a fantastic day today.

You're right that it's probably just water retention...which thankfully will eventually go away. Still annoying when it's happening though, isn't it? lol

Imagine how great you will feel when you do get there. Those times when you found it hard will be forgotten. You have done so well. Your my inspiration to keep going!!
