We’re at the ER this evening. Prayers, please.

Copying update here: we're better this morning. he has edema in two opposite legs (front and rear) and that was messing with his balance so much given the tumor on the spine that he was just flopping down and not standing up on his own which was a drastic change from hours earlier. got some antibiotics started because the rear leg was more swollen and hot to the touch, bloodwork in the works and he seems to be feeling better this morning. I'm carrying him up and down the stairs with a harness, but he seems much less lethargic at the moment. he also had a fever last night. they didn't think it was necessary to keep him overnight, so I'm taking that as a good sign. this seems to be a fantastic animal hospital. it's where the surgery will be as well. I'm optimistic. thank you all so much. I really appreciate it and so does my sweet Hogan. he would kiss every last one of you.
