Kenna Morton's Journal, 25 September 2021

This is my favorite marine corp t-shirt. I love the sentiment but it doesn’t hold true in the real world. Pain is pain and chronic pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone. It is not a sign of weakness. For those of you who posted today about dealing with chronic pain I just wonder if you live in a state where you have access to CBD. I know many people who use it medicinally with very good results. One of my best friends has brain cancer and she stoped taking pain meds and started using CBD about 6 months ago because she wanted to return to work at DisneyLand. All my peoples have nothing but positive things to say.

You might look into CBD a little more. It seems that there are few people who have been told that they could not use it. Everyone I know has kept their doctors in the loop. When the pain is that severe it is worth exploring every avenue

An absolute game changer for pain & sleep! My Drs know and have it in my list of meds. With 3 different types of arthritis plus RLS, CBD means the difference between existing and mobility 👍

We have access. I'm saving CBD for when pain is intolerable. At the moment, deep breathing, mediation & gentle excercise is my route through pain. Bodies have a tendency to adapt & meds stops working. I've learned very body responds to different classes of pain meds differently.

I'm relatively new to the world of pain management. Apparently, "Pain Management " is a specialist. They review your pain level & medical condition(s), write a perscription based on your need. *I don't believe it's limited by state law. Requirements need to be met for you to qualify, Dr. should be able to prescribe if there is a real need and other options don't work. It's probably worth a conversation with your provider. It most likely may be out of pocket cost $$$.
