So, first of all, I'm not dead (whew - I know y'all were worried). In fact, the workout today gave me new life and renewed sense of hope!

Last week, I had a chat with a nice dude with similar time lifting weights as me about tips and tricks. The difference is he's a recovering fatty (so he's twice my size), he's 20 (so he's half my age and has double my testosterone), and he's Italian (does that need clarification?)... he is just a prime bodybuilding specime that blows my physique away on every level. He's like a chubby Diablo, kinda. Typical "dumb jock", but he's a positive motivator like me, so we hit it off!

Somehow, this meatball thinks I have something to offer - if nothing else, comic relief I guess? Anyhow...

On Tuesdays, we now have plans to make that our mutual chest day, so I will have a spotter/partner for the first time ever, so my game just hopped to the next level 🤘🏻

No more being scared of being crushed by an overloaded barbell, so I can push a bit harder. The guy bench presses what I squat, so I hope I can muster enough adrenaline should the need arise to save his neck though - literally lol. 🏋️‍♂️

A great day of yard work and mounting tool racks, shop lights, and pegboards in the garage to get organized on top of the awesome workout this morning! 😊

You won’t believe it, Romance! 😂😂😂 Love it! But one of my signature scents is Cabotine. Many have never heard of it. I have many others I wear from time to time.

Erq-,what neighborhood in Chicago? I have a large Italian family from Roseland area back then. It would be crazy if he knew them.

Erq... I'll message you later the family name. I hate sharing too much on the public forum. Definitely feel like he'd know them all!

By Dalton, do you mean Dolton? I lived there, too. We moved a lot. 😂

Me too, Erq... Only my freshman and sophomore years though. I went to three different high schools. Eventually graduated in Texas. Small world!

Vaguely- But I haven't been there in 30 years. and White Sox but not a fan like I used to be. Been a long time since I've watched a game but I'll never be a cubs fan. Your husband and I are different ages but I feel like he may have had my algebra teacher.😆 She was so old by the time I went there. Explained nothing. 1st time I ever got a D. Then I went from a school of 1800 students to a TOWN of 1800 people. It was insane.
