gorgeous! thanks for sharing. our roses have gone through their cycle - and will have to wait on next buds to pop. ours are knockout roses - not quite as nice as these.

Thank you all! The dianthus (or sweet William) isn't really very big, but I do love it, busjwanie! My yard smells mostly just very "rosey," but if I get down close I can smell their wonderful fragrance, raineybird! 😁

sk. 17, this is the second year the deer have come for a bud buffet at my house. 😢 So very sad, but because of a recommendation from katsolo, I got a motion activated sprinkler. It "patrols" the most vulnerable and apparently most delectable part of my garden. So far it is working!🤞

Br_e_co, I've never had knock out, but I hear they are delightfully hardy and disease free most of the time. They are beautiful! Two of my favorites are pretty much finished their first cycle. Sadly, we had absolute downpours for days followed by lots of just damp and nasty dripping. That pretty much took the blooms out very early. But, they'll be back! 😁

That is a bummer that the rain took down the blooms. We plant knockouts because of their heartiness. Easy to take care of and they give back for a long while.

What's the name of the light pink rose. That's super pretty.

And that's how dumb I am. Mom always puts in sweet William guess I never looked at them. I thought they were 2 different plants. I need some schooling.

Thank you all! ❤️ It has been a beautiful day to be outside "puttering" with plants! 😁 Busjwanie, I don't know the name of the rose. I seriously never keep track! And, you knew the "actual" name of we flower nicknamed Sweet William! I didn't know they were the same until this year. 😁

Oh my gosh, how beautiful! You must be so nurturing to be able to grow such gorgeous and delicate flowers! The outside of your home must smell glorious. 🥰

Well, I'm just patient... Not sure about nurturing flowers. 😁 ❤️ It does smell pretty lovely when I walk outside. The best is when I run home and sit on the step to cool off! BTW, you are such a beautiful girl! Your new picture? I had to look on my computer to see better!
