Probably have to agree with you on that statement Diablo but I’d bet in most cases it is “a fad diet” that gets many started. And the highest percentage of successful dieters are those that took the time to learn the fad was all wrong and they moved on to a sustainable healthy eating and exercise plan.

I agree that fad diets don't work. It has to be a lifestyle (thanks JC for that word stays in my head). I'm a new person compared to most of you (almost 5 months) and what I find interesting is how different each person is who posted on this thread! Each person is successful. Each person has different WOE and exercise goals. Each person has overcome various disabilities or illnesses or difficulties. I am thankful to be sitting at your feet...learning every day! Onward! We are winning! :0)
