Sometimes I estimate. Sometimes it is easier to just enter it into the cookbook. Especially with things that are easy to see portion sizes. I use a cup measure with liquidy stuff like yours (so I could say hey, I've got 10 cups of soup and 2 cups are a portion, therefore, 5 portions). Whatever works as long as you log. Awesome going, lady. :0)
