Will have a small gain for the month of December. Oh, well. I didn't eat good this last week of the year. But the challenge starts tomorrow and now there are 11 participants. I worry a little about only being able to drink water. But it's only 21 days.

Thanks Jcmama, DP, Liv, Melissa, Binkytexas. I do this all the time, get close to a goal or a mini goal and then just stop doing things right. Started with an unplanned lunch at Red Robin early in the week, then breakfast out yesterday because I'd been craving French toast and then the cookies and milk at home that I'd been craving. Cravings are done and I'm ready for the challenge that starts tomorrow. There are 12 who signed up. Wish some of you would sign up. Don't have to follow the challenge exactly, just try to do some of it. Like drink water only. If you meet that mini challenge you can check it off on the challenge page. And if you have a cup of tea, just put that you had water but also tea, so missed that mini challenge on that day. Same with eating no processed food or processed meat. Anyway, it's more fun when we can encourage each other.

So you aren't committed to everything? I would like to, but I won't be able to eat fully that way. I want to give up some things but realisticly I have different goals.

I didn't mean "you aren't" I was asking if generally it isn't required to be doing it all fully.

Not on the FS challenges. Ideally you want to try to do it as much as possible. But there are mini challenges and each day you can put what you were and were not able to do. For example, if you have to have coffee, just indicate under the mini challenge to drink water only that you had a cup of coffee but you also drank x number of ounces of water. It doesn't hurt at all if you sign up and then just aren't able to stick with it. I've had that happened when I signed up for 12 week challenges. Some of the mini challenges are things I just don't do myself. I may set up a more generic challenge after this one is over. I like challenges that aren't too specific with the mini challenges. But I personally want to do the Daniel Fast exactly as the guidelines.

I can't do it, Fritzy. I❤️ you, but that's not how I eat and I don't want to mess up. But I do drink 75-100 ounces of water a day. You'll do great! I've come close to finishing and stopped short too so I know what you mean. Head in the game for both of us! 👍🏼🤸‍♀️

Keyten - the challenge page shows the challenge starts in 15 hours, that 10pm in California. Don't know why this happens, but every challenge I've done seems to actually start close to the following day. Last night I logged what I plan to eat today. Doubt I'll eat out at all for the next 21 days. DP - I understand this isn't your WOE, but the challenge should be good for me because it's the way I SHOULD be eating with my health issues. Just not so strict.

I can't eat lemon so I took myself out - bon appetit and you are so determined sometimes, I know you can do it!
