Oatmeal with coffee instead of water as a base, some chocolate milk, and cinnamon: possibly the best pre-workout fuel! (Sometimes I add whey powder for a little bump)

May as well try it out! See how you feel and if you're still recovering well. The more you can deal with while recovering properly the better in my opinion.

I never cook my oats, cold milk, banana walnuts and cinnamon. Delish!! My breakfast now fir years!!
