Be careful of the sodium and sausage if you reduce your sodium intake about 500 mg a day you’ll lose additional 10 pounds but keep it high protein and medium carbs and low fat and high fiber to

Just remember— sodium is a CRITICAL, essential element for your heart and your body to function effectively.. Too much, too little— both are problematic. Not recommended to consistently fall under 1500 mg a day.

Kenna modern food intake is full of unnecessary sodium. There really isn't much danger of failing to get enough of it... its usually the very opposite!!

I look at calories the way I look at money. Something can be expensive, but provide a lot of value, while other things can be expensive but provide no real benefit. So something high in calories can still provide a lot of nutritional value.

Bandai— you are partial correct. It is possible to get too low on sodium intake especially if you are not eating a lot of processed foods or cooking with added salt. People on low sodium diets and people who take certain medications are especially at risk. Part of why it is important for people who’s WOE restricts certain food groups To monitor and log their sodium, potassium and magnesium intake. Electrolyte imbalance can send you to the hospital very quickly. I see people here all the time who or complaining of symptoms that may be related to electrolyte imbalance— but people do what they feel is right for them.
