Guaranteed that study was done on fasted individuals. Just eat sometime around your workout and you will get the same results.

https://examine.com/supplements/branched-chain-amino-acids/ Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) are three amino acids that benefit muscle growth. They're not only found in supplements, but also in high levels in foods such as eggs or meat, rendering supplementation unnecessary for most people.

Now, if you train fasted all the time, I could see spending the money maybe. They are just so expensive and I'd recommend a quick scoop of protein before training instead.

Hey, Chris, I ordered some calipers. Stand by for ~25% bodyfat reading, lol!

Hubby has decided he needs creatine and bcaas on top of the protein powder. If he trained hard I could see but 3-5 days a week for less than an hour lifting AND cardio... just don’t think it’s gonna help much but I could be wrong. I like my protein bars whether they help or not so he can have all his new pills and things 😉👍.

I think all mine are about 12-15g per day if I take them as I’m supposed to. Have to double or triple the vitamin D depending on the day so may be more now.
