How can you eat anything when trying to lose weight? Wouldn’t you have to incorporate exercise?

You can eat eat it if it fits into your daily calorie allotment or your macros. Unless you are following a diet that eliminates food groups.

Wait, do you think that the only way to lose weight is to either not eat or exercise a ton? We all have a resting metabolic rate. Add your NEAT(non-exercise activated thermogenesis) plus your day job and your daily burn can be pretty high. You simply have to eat less energy than your daily expenditure...

I agree a calorie deficit works immensely. But I think the hard part that most people have is learning how to stop eating once they have reached that. I in particular have a very very sedentary lifestyle due to work. (Office secretary) so I know if I eat more than I should as I have been, than I’m screwed.

@Ettenaj - In my case I 'continue to eat' because 'mentally' I go 'out of control'. So for me, it doesn't matter that I 'should be able to eat whatever I want'. For me, the 'stopping when satiated' is 'broken' and still is not 'fixed', so I use IF (Intermittent Fasting) to lose weight. I have yet to see a diet that allows a 'calorie surplus', so of course I will always have a 'calorie deficit' no matter what I do.

I've never seen carb chopper tortillas... I have to look for those. Tonight I am making chicken enchiladas verde with carb balance. coming out of a fast, and I want to just reach into the screen and grab your chimichanga haha
