Jamaica was hot and dry. It rained about 10 minutes one morning during our 9 day stay. The resort was running sprinklers to keep the grass green. Fortunately, Jamaica took a miss on that horrific storm last year. We stay on the north shore in Ochos Rios. I was pleased with the "little" gain. I did drink, but injested just as much water as booze so I think that played a part. And I kept food portions sensible. I spent a lot of time reading in the shade so that contributed to the "round" feeling. But it also gave me incentive to get back concentrating on my health. Let's see how the upcoming year pans out. ☺

Love Jamaica. Was in Bloody Bay in Negril in Feb. we usually stay in Runaway Bay near Ochos Rios.
Lots of jerk chicken and Appleton Rum. 😆.

We visited Negril on a day trip a few years ago. Where did you stay? So, Runaway Bay - Grand Bahia? We used to go to Club Ambiance just next door until the new owners ran it into the ground. From there we shifted to Couples Sans Souci and haven't looked back. We always find the jerk anything is much better off the resort - especially at Scotchies.

Jamaica certainly is. The "sad bus" ride is the only part we don't like. We're already looking at dates for next April - will be trip #10. We just need to go back to work tomorrow and start saving for it. 😊
