Another day almost done. I am dragging today and will try to go to sleep early. I joined a local co-op for fruits and veggies and I get my 1st bin tomorrow morning. I'm excited. You don't have to order every week, just when you want to. They also have add-ons so you can get just those or with your bin. This weeks bin has
Ruskin Tomatoes (local)
Champagne Mangoes
Corn (local)
Organic Fuji Apples
Asparagus
Minneola Honeybells (this may be the last time in the bin for this season)
Brussel Sprouts
Seedless Grapes OR Cantaloupe
Mushrooms OR Onions
Mini Carrots OR Organic Rainbow Carrots
Bananas Or Avocado
I get the Asparagus and Brussel sprouts. I do have to pick between bananas for my son or avocado for me but he loves corn, apples, and grapes so I pick I'll pick me for once. The only hard to not eat from the bin will be the honeybells. I'm a little bit addicted to them and actually started my woe change 2 months later than I planned to accommodate honeybell season. Yep, no low carb for the start of honeybell season.
Garden is still insane and the 1st cuke was eaten. I have several more on the vines and have a feeling I'll be giving them away before to long.
