Learning more about this website. Being able to change food entries by tapping on them, and setting exercise defaults are very helpful.
My blood sugar was 118 this morning, very helpful. Blood pressure 122/66, despite having eaten some very salty soup that has put 4 lbs of water retention on me. No salt today. How long will it take to get that off? I have stuck to my diet scrupulously and have begun to exercise more. I doubt I could have truly gained.
Getting lots of sleep is important to me, and I've learned that too much caffeine can cause dizziness through a dehydration effect when you are not used to it. As I've been drinking tea for the past month, I guess that explains why a cup of coffee can set up a "dizzy when i stand" reaction. I am taking more metformin now, and Niacin two hours after my mealtime medsl so that it doesn't interfere with metformin. I will need something in my stomach to keep it from bothering me, I think. I'll try out that theory today.
