True confession time: so my FS buddies don't think I never stumble on this journey...

I gained 1.2 lbs. yesterday. My aunt from Mexico came to visit and we decided to go to this amazing German restaurant. I had no clue how to pronounce most of what I ate, let alone journal it in FS so, let's just say that a lot of it looked suspiciously like mac and cheese but tasted even better!

Then today I was doing so good until dinner when my aunt broke out the gifts she brought from Mexico and I had to try some! The most excellent tequila I have ever tasted along with some delightful crackers and cookies. Bye bye ketosis! Hehe.

So, tomorrow is a new day and I will try again to get back into the groove of my diet but I have had such a good time today. We walked the entire length of TWO enormous malls today. That's gotta count for something.

PLUS! The best news yet... I tried on some clothes at the mall and I am down another size. :) **happy dance**

I haven't had a chance to scour FS for everyone's updates but I hope everyone is doing well and had a good Monday.

Don't panic, just get back on track and it will be fine - the sudden gain will go away quickly :)

Search the forums on water weight gain and low carb diets. Basically you will see greater water weight gains when you suddenly eat more carbs than you are use to. This isn't real weight gain, just your body holding onto more water.

Give yourself a break today - you have been losing consistently - over 50 pounds. Be proud of that accomplishment. It will payoff when we just stick to our plan, right?

Thanks everyone! These two mental health days have been so great for my stress levels. I am seriously considering changing my diet, also. I know it has been going so well but it's definitely not sustainable as a lifestyle change and so I think it may be time to start re-evaluating my goals and overall game plan. I am going to do a little research but I am still leaning towards some low carb option since I like the way I feel fuller more often. Whatever it is, it needs to be something that is a lifelong commitment. That goes for the exercise, as well.
