I usually get in between 60g and 84g but in all honesty I try to get closer to an even 100g

it's very cool that you have learned to forgive yourself. Many people do not know how to do that, myself included. LOL!

Jess, Your young and your kidneys are healthy now but usually people into heavy body building will cycle doing large amounts of protein daily for a given amount of time and then back off to low or normal intakes to give their kidneys time to recover from protein.Protein is the kidneys worst enemy, any of it that is not absorbed into your body is dumped back to your kidneys to filter out.In time protein will destroy the fibers creating wholes which allows impurities to contaminate your system as a whole that's where dialysis is then need 3xwk at 4hr sessions for life.Just a heads up on this, remember there's a balance for everything .Here's a formula l was given by the VA for people to use Wt x .32=prot.

I guess it just got to be habit reaching for such protein goals as that's what I was told to do by my surgeon after I had my sleeve done

It's good to shake it up a bit once in awhile anyway. As for protein and kidneys, even my husband's kidney dr. said that the jury was still out on whether protein was bad for kidneys. Of course, all bets are off when it comes to really huge amounts of easily consumed protein (as in powders). If you're eating a natural source of protein (as in meat, fish, eggs) then it's not likely you'll overeat it.
