Yesterday I had a moment with my 7 year old daughter. I was giving her hugs and kisses before sending her off to bed and I noticed for the first time she had a little bit of extra chub. It wasn’t much, nothing to be greatly concerned with but she has my body type and I know how quickly it can get out of control (I started getting getting chubby around 5/6 years old, despite being very active).
In that moment I realized I NEED to do this weight loss thing for her. I need to teach her proper servings and healthy options.
Despite already doing my 30 minutes of exercise that day, I asked her if she wanted to do 30 minutes of yoga with me. She jumps out of bed excited because she loves yoga. 5 minutes into the video, one by one my 2 boys start trickling out of bed to see if they can do it too... so it ended up being a family workout session at 10pm at night 🤷🏻♀️
