I love to switch it up when I do 2 hours straight, I do 30 min eliptical, 30 min bike, 30 min ski machine, and then 30 min on stepper. I like to do intervals, so I get my heart-rate up to 170 back to 140, up to 170 down to 140.... you get the picture :-)

I've been thinking of adding one marathon 2+ hour cardio workout to my week after C25K is finished. I like your plan, but I'd probably skip the ski machine and do the rowing machine instead. I love the rowing machine- works some upper body while the rest is mostly lower. I'd love to just elliptical for 2 hours, but it is definitely less effective than switching around.

my gym has two different kind of eliptical machines I use them both, it doesn't have a row machine though.

There are 4 kinds at the gym I go to- I do them all occasionally, but there is one type I like best. It's the one where your feet aren't in a fixed track and you can change your stride length to be more like stair stepping or more like running depending on how you feel like doing it. Man, I love that thing. Like running on the moon! (It's also the most difficult one)
