And that's why I only weigh myself once a week, weighing in daily seems utterly pointless in my mind. But as others have said, you are heading in the right direction. Well done!

I fluctuate a lot. Weighed myself this morning for the first time in a month. I'd teetered off the wagon a wee bit eating wise but I'd kept up with my running. I was expecting a gain but I'd actually lost a 1.5 lbs so I'm pleasantly surprised. I'm glad I didn't weigh myself before as I wouldn't have been pleased with the result. Oh and don't underestimate the amount of daily/monthly fluctuations too :)

I've lost 1 stone 4 lbs in 8 weeks. I'm half a lb off half stone award so was gutted but definitely going in the right direction. only getting on weekly at slimming world x

You're doing really well Annmarie, but honestly, checking the scales too often will give you a heart attack. It's all about the long term loss so just chill and check yourself less often.You get nice surprises that way too.

I've decided to only weigh myself once a month...when I saw nothing happening or a gain it would totally devastate my motivation then I would binge because 'what's the point' - in actual fact I was gaining muscle.
