Day one with FatSecret. Today was a good day. I am still not sure what kind of diet will work for me. Right now I am counting calories but I feel like I am not giving it all I can. I want something to stick to other than just counting calories. If any of you have ideas for me please send them my way. I also found myself sitting down to much today and not getting up and getting stuff done. I have a habit of sitting and getting on the computer and then not getting up. Plus I really take advantage of my little girl taking her nap by sitting down and taking a rest. I really should be working out during that time. Oh well first day I will try to do better tomorrow. I am normally not very good at this journaling thing but I am going to try to keep up with it.

The thing that has been really helpful to me is tracking the food. I enter everything I eat, after awhile it becomes second nature and you know what you can and can't have for the day so counting calories is not so hard. Good luck on your journey. Make it a lifestyle change, one you can do forever when deciding on what works for you.

Today was my first day as well. My little girl is 7 months and crawling so working out is hard also. You can do it while they are awake just try to involve them somehow. She was laughing at me the whole time. I hope this traking thing works out for all of us.

All I've been doing is counting calories and hitting the gym! Simple, and it's works fine for me. It's only your first day, too - give yourself some time to get used to things!
