I love my morning weight! You know, while still in your jammies after you wake up and go to bathroom? It's my favorite time to read those numbers. If only they were accurate. If I really want to punish myself, I weight in at night, right after dinner--UGH. I had such a bad weekend that I did weigh myself at night, twice. I made waaay to many bad choices last weekend and drank too many calories. I did need to be punished. I was out of town too so didn't make it the gym for 4 days. Bright side, I will not beat myself up. I am dissapointed but that doesn't get me anywhere either. Trying to learn from my mistakes and not put myself in those situations with any regularity. Nothing to be gained by spitting in the wind-gross. Forward Motion!

don't punish yourself you've done an amazing job so far. And I believe morning weigh ins after the bathroom ARE the most accurate bc you're not holding water in your bladder and stomach that you've drank throughout the day which puts on a lot of weight.

Great action word for it, "Forward Motion". No worries, we've all been there. The important things is that you are learning from it and moving past it. You've come to far to let a few days mess you up.

Actually, morning weigh-ins are very accurate. Once you start adding food and drink and everything else which effects water weight all day, the scale becomes inaccurate to your true weight. I always go by morning weight. The most important thing is that you weigh the same time each day or each week, wear the same clothes, same scale, etc to accurately gauge how your weight loss is going. So just keep weighing in the morning if it makes you happy. All the other times is just water weight fluctuations.

Yup. I'm a morning weigher too. My morning weight seems to accurately reflect my eating habits from the day before, whereas an evening weight will depend highly on just what you've had for dinner or if you drank a lot of water. Water's heavy!!
