My teenager is REALLY stressin' me! ARG! I can't believe the mood I'm in! Knowing this is the case, I'm going to make myself drink my 8 glasses of water today and really be prepared for the urges of wanting to eat naughty food! On the way to work this morning, I'm going to stop by the store and get a box of SBD cookies, to have on hand after lunch today (for my afternoon craving)...until I can make one of the yummy recipes you guys shared yesterday! Thanks so much for the ideas!
I DID go work out yesterday! I felt pretty good about myself afterwards!
I went to Wendy's yesterday for a salad, as I was in the mood for "fast food". I picked Wendy's cuz I knew they had salads. Well, let me just tell everyone, just because it's labeled "salad" doesn't make it healthy! Would you believe their SW Taco Salad has 1,530mg of sodium in it?! Yes, you read that right! It also had over 600 calories! The only reason I found this out was because I logged everything in mydailyplate.
I am still working on my list of impulse moments and things to do inplace of giving in to those impulses. One of my ideas was whenever I have the overwhelming urge for a Starbucks latte, not sugar free, I'm going to chew gum and if that doesn't work, call Bullytrouble! lol She'll set me straight, I'm sure! Also, for portion control, I think I'm going to buy myself a nice table cloth and place mats for the kitchen table. We rarely eat dinner at the table together. I grew up eating at the table and it really bugs me that we don't do that. I'm thinking that if I make the table look appealing and a place that doesn't collect clutter, we'll be more apt to eat there! Gonna take a look this weekend!
Well, better get for now. I'm going to remind myself of the ridin' contest today so that I don't disappoint anyone!'
Thanks for everyone's support and comments! I always look forward to hearing what you all have to say!

Its the crazy dressing and croutons that they put on it! Why do they have to do that when low-fat dressings are yummy too? Daily Plate is great isnt it?

At Starbucks (used to be my downfall) to get a real caffeine boost and no guilt, try an American with SF caramel or sf chocolate flavoring. You'll get your Starbucks cup, Starbucks jolt and you'd feel awfully dang proud for switching a bad habit into a good one! Let me know how it works! Warning though, those Americanos are STRONG! You must love coffee!

I thing sprucing up the table is a fantastic plan. I read somewhere(I think in Fitness magazine) that your subconscious won't count the little munchies and bites that you eat straight from the fridge, standing up, or in front of the tv as a real meal, because we are not paying enough attention to the food. Myself, I've been guilty of eating in front of the computer, but I need to go to Internet Addicts Annonymous. Sounds like you've got a game plan and are set for the long haul! Good for you!

Oooooo...what is an Americano? Is it straight coffee?

NO! It's espresso, but instead of milk it's mixed with water. When they add a SF syrup to it, it taste like a VERY STRONG latte (picture it that way). You might want to add a DROP of lf milk or whatever you typically add to your coffee. I don't, but it is a very strong drink. Try it. It's also the cheapest drink on their menu. You'll be saving guilt, calories, fat AND money!

YAYAYA!! I'm lovin' you!! You're gonna ROCK IT!! I just know it! So, you're gonna have to tell me how the sf americana is!! MMMMmmm I'm interested! I understand that many ppl buy them and then at the end of the counter add cinnamon etc. to it and save a bundle, but guess the barista's aren't too pleased with it! =D lol
