Two years ago today, I was waking up in the recovery room of a hospital after being stabbed 5 times...due to extenuating circumstances, I was then taken to jail where I stayed for 4 months until my Malicious Wounding Charge was thrown out by a judge.
Today, I am SOBER, HAPPY, IN COLLEGE, and WITH MY FAMILY.
Sometimes I feel as if I'm going nowhere, but, on days like today I can see my past clearly, which is sometimes extremely painful, but LOOK AT WHO I'VE BECOME!!!
My 21st Birthday is December 14th...and instead of thinking over all the things I've gone through in these 21 years of life, I'm going to celebrate NOW, who I am NOW, where I'm going NOW, the beautiful person that I am becoming.
For once, my past isn't holding me back...it's darkness is in crazy contrast with a future that is so bright, and so appealing...
Please continue to pray for me and the people whose lives I come into contact with every day. I want to make my 21st year a year of blessing to everyone that I come into contact with...
