Thanks to this No Cheating no Hiding Challenge II, I have become seriously obsessive about recording everything I eat and drink.

Every glass of water.

Every bite of food.

I feels a bit anal and obsessive, but I think it is helping to keep me accountable, and aware... at the very least, I feel bad about eating bad food and try to make better choices, instead of just pretending it didn't happen and continuing to do it every day.

I think many people would think I am crazy right now for being so obsessive.

I sure don't think your crazy, I feel the exact same way and I too have become obsessive on this site for the last 6 weeks. First time in my life I am counting calories. Actually, first time in my life I am reading labels and recording everything I am putting into my body. I am enjoying the education and the experiment. My family DOES think I am crazy, however they are starting to notice the results. I'll stay crazy if you stay crazy too :)

Hey! Awesome, I'm not the only one.... if there's more of us, we won't be the crazy ones! THEY will be! Hehehe. It really makes you aware though.... like at Earls, the salad's there are some of the WORST things on the menu... over 1000 calories for a grilled chicken spinach salad... I would never have known if I hadn't started recording everything!

wow - good to know. one of the things that always gets me is the portion size, haha. I dusted off an old scale and have the measuring cup out. What I thought was 1 cup of cereal, is actually 5, haha. What I thought was a 4oz steak is actually 9oz. haha. I never measured anything!!!!!

yeah the portion sizes are pretty shocking, hey? i try not to eat until i'm bursting like i used to when i was a teenager, that helps.
