Adora's Journal, 11 June 2007

I did OK today. Didn't work out at all. *sighs* According to EFS day 2, I should have done 75 mins (I'm a type B) of exercise. I guess I will work harder tomorrow. Perhaps spend 30 minutes extra and then try to do Pilates afterwards if I got time.

I also didn't follow the EFS meals - but I ate less. Let's see, I had 1 whole egg, 1 yogurt and small coffee for breakfast. I got too busy with two guests over and only ate a lot of wheat thin crackers along with spinach dip.

Since my boyfriend was fixing and painting our bathroom with new color (blue - my fav color!), he asked me to get him a sandwich from Subway so I did. I got myself 6" inch sandwich with honey oat, turkey & ham, lettuces, onions, and tomatoes and lite mayo for dinner. Oh, I also had a small caramel macchiato from starbucks with double expresso & 1% milk (I was very tired in the afternoon so I had to get some coffee to boost my energy).

SO, I think my meals aren't bad as long as I had smaller portions (OK, I went overboard a bit on wheat thin crackers & spinach dip!)

Hey Adora.. isn't it great to get some house work done? I really need to do some painting around here, but it'll have to wait until I can get some remodeling finished up. Not to nitpick because I'm the first to snack, but I just wanted to give you some calorie counts so you're an informed consumer. :) Tall Nonfat Caramel Macchiato - 170 calories (27g sugar) (http://www.starbucks.com/retail/nutrition_beverage_detail.asp) 6" Turkey and Ham - 290 calories, 20g protein, 1210g sodium) (http://www.subway.com/applications/NutritionInfo/nutritionlist.aspx?id=sandwich) Overall not bad choices. :) I may have to look at the Subway menu a bit closer as long as I can find a decent whole wheat bread there. :) It'd be a nice change. Have a great weekend!
