Okay...so here is my big leap of faith!
For some reason this morning I realized that I never use pictures of myself in any of my profiles and never post any pictures of myself for anyone to see...because I view myself as fat and unattractive. I figured out, for some unknown reason, that I hide behind pictures of my daughter. To me, she's just the cutest lil' thing and I'm so proud of her...so, I use pictures of her instead of me.
I've decided that I'm going to make a statement to myself by using a real picture of me, taken today, for my profile picture. I'm doing it so that I quit feeling embarrassed about myself. Obviously, people like me for who I am and my weight doesn't seem to matter to them, so why should I be so embarrassed to be seen by the public? Plus, I want this picture to inspire me to contine my weightloss efforts. In 3 months, I hope to have 1 less chin. lol
So, there you have it.

Chin, what chin? I see a sweet loving mom holding her baby......a mom who should not be hiding, but showing, because it is obvious you glow!!!!!!!

Great picture! I completely get what you say about photos - I am a control person by nature - so it is always sooooo convenient that I am the one with the camera and there are never any pictures of me : )
I think we are all more critical of ourselves because of the self images we have about our appearance - and in my personal non-biased opinion - your picture is beautiful!
I decided the only way I would be accountable is to post my picture and to stop hiding behind a clipart cartoon - though the bowl of fruit I was assigned was quite attractive!

Yea!!! You're out of hiding!! I knew you could do it! =D Hey everyone, this is my great friend "TEE-TAH"! LOL Okay, well, when my oldest daughter, almost 6, was like 2 she call Christina, "Tee-Tah"... ahhhh... so sweet! We are going to be healthy, so very soon! *hugs*

Yes, we are too critical of ourselves. When I first put my pic up, I was feeling rather awkward, as there weren't many "photos" up, but hey, I like to be "original" and what's more original then ME?! =D
lol I try to listen to what I continually tell others, that "you are beautiful, God made you the way you are, special and unique and gracefully gorgeous"... yes, that means even me, too. I can't say that I necessarily "see" it, but I have to say it until I believe it. BELIEVE IT!! YES, YOU are beautimous! =D Every last pound of ya, is. Blessed we are to have one another.... yes, very blessed.
Go look in the mirror and say "I am beautiful!" three times, twice a day. :)
